Garda is a great place to use as a base to visit any of the other towns on Lake Garda including the cable car to Malcesine and the ferry service to all the other small towns.

Torri del Benaco is a nice fascinating medieval village, built around its small harbour. The village preserves well the old Lake Garda fishermen traditions.

Brenzone sul Garda is a small, quaint village on the eastern side of the lake. Tourism is an important industry in Brenzone and the activities for tourists can be usually found around the lake shores, where hotels , residences and camping sites are scattered, besides numerous restaurants where the local specialties can be tasted.

Located in the northern side of the lake and standing at 1,444 meters above sea level, Limone is a small, atmospheric town with narrow and winding streets.

Torbole offers one of the most beautiful views of the lake. Interestingly houses have been colored in contrasting colors with the waters, making it a perfect blend of natural and man made beauty, located on the eastern side of Lake Garda.

The town of Riva del Garda is one of the most outstanding spots on the lake. Located at the north-western corner of Lago di Garda, it is also one the largest settlements in the northern part of the lake.

Malcesine is one of the most beautiful towns of the shores of Lake Garda. It faces the lake and is backed by beautiful olive groves at the foot of Monte Baldo.
