Gargnano

Gargnano is a quiet small town, a great place to explore the nature around it. Beside the main town of Gargnano, the villages of Bogliaco and Villa are also part of it.

It has always been a quiet retreat for the rich, a fact that can be seen from the numerous old villas dotting Gargnano.

One of the largest sailing regattas, the Centomiglia takes place in Bogliaco each September.

Gargnano is special among the towns of Lake Garda because Lago di Valvestino can also be found inside its administrative territory, around 13 km away from the town proper.

The main architectural buildings and tourist spots in Gargnano are the Chiesa di San Francesco and the bell tower of Chiesa di San Martino and the Villa Feltrinelli, currently a five star hotel.
