Torbole

Torbole is a delightful town situated on the north-east Shores of Lake Garda, on the feet of Monte Baldo.

Torbole offers one of the most beautiful views of the lake. Interestingly houses have been colored in contrasting colors with the waters, making it a perfect blend of natural and man made beauty, located on the eastern side of Lake Garda.

There are many sports and leisure activities you can do here. Thanks to its windy position and to the fact that motorboat navigation is not permitted, it is a windsurf, kite surf and sailing international Center, popular around the world among water sport amateurs and professionals alike.

In 1786 J.W. Goethe wrote about its extraordinary winds, “a wonder of the Nature, a charming show”. The sure most evocative part it has conserved the original aspect of the small village of fishermen and boatmen been born in the farthest centuries.

A really picturesque corner is its small port with typical building of the old border built in the 15th century: here there was the border between Italy and the Austrian-Ungarian Empire until the end the first World War.
