San Felice del Benaco

San Felice del Benaco is a little village not too far from Salò, not directly on the shore of the lake but on a peninsula in close proximity to more beaches.

The largest island on the lake, Isola di Garda can be found just a few hundred meters away from the shores near San Felice. The island is dominated by the neogothic Villa Borghese Cavazza.

The village of San Felice is an amazing place that is untouched and the natural beauty of the nearby mountains of Monte della Croce, Monte Campagnolo and Monte Santa Maria is unparalelled.

San Felice is crossed by a bike path that connects it to the villages of Portese and Cisano.

Besides its natural beauty the village is also famous for the baroque church with its frescoes is a sight worth seen, as are the ruins of the medieval castle in Portese.
